Microsoft 365 migration

Before your migration starts
Mailboxes, calendars and files, moved to Microsoft 365 and set up to work on day one.

A migration goes smoothly when a few things are ready before we begin. Here’s a short checklist.

1. Know your source

Be clear on where your email lives today: another Microsoft 365 account, Google Workspace, an on-premise Exchange server, a generic IMAP/POP mailbox, or Outlook PST files. The source decides which options are available and what we need access to.

2. Count your mailboxes and users

Have an accurate list of the mailboxes and people to move. Pricing is per mailbox or per user, so a clean list keeps the quote accurate and the move complete.

3. Decide on licensing

Decide whether you need Microsoft 365 licenses from us (Business Basic, Standard or Premium) or you already have them. See Business Basic, Standard or Premium?

4. Access and domain details

Have your email domain details and administrator access to the source system ready. We’ll confirm exactly what’s needed for your source once you order.

5. Choose the right option

Pick Email only, Email + setup or Email + full setup based on how much setup you want handled. See Which migration option do you need?

Once these are in hand, the move is straightforward. If you’d like help getting ready, talk to our team.
