We confirm the plan

One project manager plans the move with you: we review your current system, map every mailbox and confirm the scope.

We set up Microsoft 365

Tenant, user accounts and licenses ready, and your domains verified, before the move. With Mailbox migration, we create the user accounts on the new tenant.

We move your email and data

We copy your email, calendars and contacts in the background, check them on test accounts, then cut over after hours, at a time agreed with you, by switching your DNS (MX) records to Microsoft 365.

We follow up

While the MX change spreads across the internet, a follow-up migration pass within 72 hours of cutover picks up anything sent during the switch, and you get a final migration report.

Choosing an option
Which option do I need?
Every option moves your email; they differ in how much of Microsoft 365 we set up. Mailbox migration: Office 365 tenant-to-tenant mailbox migration, with user accounts created on the new tenant, for 10 mailboxes or more. Email + Setup (Tier 1 · Basic): we set up Microsoft 365 for you and move email, calendars and contacts from Google Workspace, Exchange, IMAP / POP, a hosting provider such as GoDaddy, or another Microsoft 365 account. Email + Setup + Outlook (Tier 2 · Premium): we also set up Outlook automatically on each computer. Email + Setup + Outlook + Data (Tier 3 · Premium Plus): we also set up SharePoint and OneDrive, set custom retention and password policies, and update Office apps.
Does the price change by platform?
No. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, IMAP / POP and hosting provider migrations all use the same prices. Mailbox migration is available for Microsoft 365 to Microsoft 365 moves. GroupWise, Zimbra and Lotus Notes are planned as a project: choose Other platforms in step 1 to request a quote.
Do you move our files too?
Every option moves email. Email + Setup + Outlook + Data also sets up SharePoint and OneDrive. Moving files from Google Drive, a file server or another Microsoft 365 account is planned with you; talk to our team.
Do we need new Microsoft 365 licenses?
Every user needs a Microsoft 365 license. Add Business Basic, Standard or Premium in the bundle offer, ask us about an Enterprise plan, or keep the licenses you already have. During the migration, eMazzanti needs to be a Global Admin and your Microsoft partner of record.

What happens after I order?
We contact you to review your current system and confirm the scope and plan with you before any work begins. Then we schedule the move.
The move
Will email keep working during the move?
Mailboxes are copied in the background while your team keeps using the current system. We switch mail delivery to Microsoft 365 at a time agreed with you, then run a follow-up pass within 72 hours to pick up anything that arrived during the switch.
What is a cutover versus a staged migration?
A cutover moves every mailbox in one go. A staged migration moves users in groups over a longer period. We recommend the right approach for your size when we confirm the plan.
Pricing
How is the price calculated?
Everything for the migration is paid once. Mailbox migration: $50 per mailbox + $600 O365 Migration Setup + $12 per mailbox migration tool, minimum 10 mailboxes. Email + Setup: $100 per user. Email + Setup + Outlook: $150 per user. Email + Setup + Outlook + Data: $200 per user. These three include the migration tool and have a one-time $1,000 tenant configuration fee. Add Microsoft 365 licenses, MXINSPECT and eCare Cloud Backups (any plan of each) and you get 50% off the migration. Training is $600, one-time. Microsoft 365 licenses and MXINSPECT, cloud backup and the managed mailbox service are billed monthly, with a 12-month minimum term. Use Prepare a quote (PDF) under the price to download a quote. Is ongoing support included?
The migration includes the 72-hour follow-up pass. After the move, add the managed mailbox service in step 3 (Add-ons) ($10 per user per month, billed monthly with a 12-month minimum term): we manage roles, reset passwords and manage distribution groups.
