Moving from Google Workspace
Mailboxes, calendars and files, moved to Microsoft 365 and set up to work on day one.

Moving from Google Workspace (Gmail) to Microsoft 365 is one of the most common migrations we do. Here’s what moves across and what to plan for.

What moves

Your email migrates from Gmail into Microsoft 365 mailboxes. Alongside the mailboxes, calendars and contacts are part of a Google Workspace move so your team keeps their schedule and address book.

What to plan for

A few differences are worth knowing up front: labels in Gmail become folders in Outlook, and the two platforms handle some sharing and calendar features differently. We account for these when we plan the move so nothing important is lost.

Which option and licensing

Because Google Workspace is not a Microsoft 365 account, you’ll choose Email + setup or Email + full setup. See Which migration option do you need? and pick licensing in Business Basic, Standard or Premium?

Getting started

Have your Google Workspace admin access and user list ready (see Before your migration starts), then talk to our team.
